QUALIFICATIONS

4-Year bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline
Over 6 years’ experience in developing cloud integration services, API design and development, stakeholder collaboration, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments
Proven expertise in designing, building, and managing integration platforms using Azure API Management, with strong skills in API development (REST, Synch/Async) using .NET and Azure Functions.
Deep experience in microservices and middleware architecture, including event-driven solutions with sub/pub patterns using Azure ESB, and process orchestration with Kubernetes.
Proficient in leveraging cloud-native technologies to design and deploy scalable solutions, and in implementing ETL jobs with ADF or Microsoft Fabric.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Operate day-to-day architecture governance aligned to the enterprise governance framework, defined decision rights, and review thresholds.
Organize, schedule, and support ARB sessions end-to-end, including agenda development, pre-read coordination, attendance management, timekeeping, and capturing decisions.
Manage review intake and triage: validate completeness and quality of submissions, route to the appropriate review path, and drive timely progression from review to decision to closure.
Document outcomes clearly (approvals, conditions, deferrals, rejections), and track action items/conditions to completion with owners and due dates.
Define and enforce governance quality checkpoints across architecture deliverables and review artifacts (quality control/assurance mindset).

Maintain an accurate and current application inventory (ownership, lifecycle status, dependencies, and periodic/timestamped updates) within the enterprise architecture repository and/or APM toolset.

QUALIFICATIONS

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Plan, coordinate and conduct electrical engineering assessments, studies, inspections, investigations, designs, and evaluations for generators, power systems transformers, control associated with hydroelectric generating stations and associated infrastructure.
Perform condition and risk assessments and provide recommendations with respect to life cycle management of electrical infrastructure.
Preparation of drawings, technical specifications, construction estimates, Request for Proposals, proposal evaluation, award, contract negotiations & administration & co-ordination, construction monitoring, resolution of contract disputes.
Provide input to business plans, work plans, budgets with respect to project priorities, schedules, and resource requirements.
Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and government agencies as required.
As a technical expert in electrical engineering provide advice, guidance, consultation, and services to engineering problems including:
Electrical/P&C engineering matters related to projects and Operations.
Electrical Programs such as Arc Flash and grounding assessments
Respond to emergencies, equipment failure, unsatisfactory equipment performance, conduct field investigations, prepare reports, and recommend actions.

QUALIFICATIONS

4 year Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 6 years experience in an Electrical Engineering role; Experience working in a Hydroelectric Generating Facility is preferred; Experience working in an Industrial Power Systems or Utilities organization.
Experience using AutoCAD is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of the OH&S Act and Regulations, especially for Industrial Establishments (Ont. Reg. 851) & Construction (Ont. Reg. 213) in Ontario & the Ontario Electrical Safety Code & various codes and standards associated with electrical engineering and application of their requirements.
Experience with planning and conducting assessments, studies, inspections, investigations, designing, evaluating, construction monitoring & maintenance of electrical works associated with hydroelectric generating stations.
Ability to Independently problem solve with methods and tools required for electrical engineering applications.
The Ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and experience with AC & DC systems, communication, generator, and protection / control systems, grounding, instrumentation, LV & MV systems & switchgear, oil containment, PLC's, transformers, teleprotections, and regulatory requirements.
Software associated with electrical engineering, monitoring and instrumentation, Power System Software, SCADA, Data Historians MS Suite of software & AutoCAD; Experience in analysis in electrical testing & results.

As necessary, prepare investment justifications based on conditions assessments of assigned existing systems and equipment.

JOB OVERVIEW

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Cyber Security Specialist.

Reporting to the Section Head, Information Systems, this position is responsible to provide leadership and participate as a member of the Cybersecurity team by tracking and investigating security threats and driving remediation strategies, that includes creating reports, authoring playbooks and maintaining compliance to cybersecurity policies. Be required to keep abreast of up-to-date developments and trends in cybersecurity management information systems, networks and computer applications

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

Manage end-to-end incident response, including alert triage, investigation, containment, and remediation.
Continuously track global threat trends, ransomware, and APTs relevant to the sector.
Conduct vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and tabletop exercises to validate readiness.
Operate and optimize enterprise SIEM for real-time detection, correlation, and automated response.
Develop custom rules, playbooks, and queries aligned with MITRE ATT&CK for proactive threat hunting.
Implement and maintain cloud security controls, endpoint protection, and Zero Trust principles.
Configure privileged access management, enforce segmentation, and secure application access.
Perform traffic analysis, firewall audits, and enforce CASB/DLP for SaaS and sensitive data.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field; advanced 1year cybersecurity studies preferred.
Active CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, or equivalent credentials from the same organizations.
6–8 years of hands-on senior enterprise cybersecurity operations.
Advanced skills in SIEM platforms and threat detection technologies.
Strong Azure security knowledge, including Microsoft Defender and posture management.
Proficiency in Linux administration, PKI architecture, HSM deployment, and backend appliance support.
Expertise in CyberArk PAM, Zero Trust architecture, and firewall policy optimization.
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, threat hunting, security automation, and architecture reviews.
