Key Accountabilities

Responsible for creating, maintaining, and enforcing cybersecurity standards, policies, and procedures across the organization.
Develops cyber governance frameworks that align with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational risk objectives.
Assesses compliance with established cyber standards and identifies gaps, risks, or areas requiring improvement.

Perform Third party Cyber risk assessments by working with vendors and ensure adherence to Cybersecurity Terms and Conditions using a Risk based approach.
Support ICFR activities, including control design assessment, operating effectiveness testing, evidence review, and remediation tracking to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

Requires a 4 Year University Degree in Computer Science.
Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in Cyber Risk, Consulting, and Third-Party Cyber Risk Management etc.
Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and enforcing cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and governance frameworks aligned with organizational risk objectives.
Strong working knowledge of established cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, ISF, CSA N290.7, NERC-CIP, and related regulatory or compliance requirements.
Proven ability to perform risk, gaps, control, maturity, third-party, and compliance assessments; identify findings; and recommend practical remediation actions to improve security posture.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Electrical Engineering role; Experience working in a Hydroelectric Generating Facility is preferred; Experience working in an Industrial Power Systems or Utilities organization.
Individual with ability to work with people and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A result oriented, efficient & value oriented focus, with high integrity to uphold company values including H&S, and protection of the environment;
Experience working in an industrial environment or generating facility with distributed control systems, high voltage installations, protection and control schemes, and large electric motors and/or generators (asset) is preferred.
Knowledge and/or experience conducting assessments, testing, studies, inspections, investigations, designing, evaluating, construction monitoring & maintenance of electrical works associated with high voltage industrial installations.

Perform routine field and control room activities, including equipment inspections, monitoring, testing, start-up, shutdown, changeovers, isolations, set-point adjustments, and other operational activities within your qualifications.
Monitor systems and equipment using approved procedures, Operator Field Guide Books, round sheets, control panels, and local indications. Identify abnormal or out-of-limit conditions, report deficiencies, and initiate or support appropriate corrective actions.
Troubleshoot and perform diagnostic testing on systems and equipment, and respond to abnormal or emergency conditions as directed.
Prepare, check, execute, and verify Work Protection Documents, where qualified, and perform delegated issuing authority duties when required.
Maintain safe work areas through good housekeeping, fire prevention, emergency response practices, equipment clearance, and adherence to approved procedures.
Support work activities through clear communication, accurate area logs and shift turnover, procedure writing and assessment, work requests, tagging, signage, and regular progress updates.
Perform specialized roles when required, including Entry Monitor, Confined Space Coordinator, Green Man, and Access Control Monitor.
Work collaboratively with other Nuclear Operators and station personnel to safely meet operational and production requirements. Qualified Nuclear Operators may also demonstrate operational activities to other operators preparing for JPMs and conduct evaluations when appropriately qualified.

Only fully qualified Nuclear Operators will perform control duties associated with their qualified stream.

Qualifications

Grade 12 with 3 Grade 12 University Prep academic courses in Math, Physics and Chemistry or Grade 12 with 2 years of Community College in an appropriately related diploma or equivalent.
