JOB OVERVIEW
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of ServiceNow Business Analyst.
Reporting to the Senior Manager IT Services, this position is responsible to lead the design and maintenance of an enterprise workflow visibility and documentation framework across ServiceNow, RPA, and DevOps, including end-to-end workflow/integration mapping, current/future-state visualizations, and continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Design and develop an enterprise workflow process to capture, standardize, and maintain visibility of active platform workflows across ServiceNow, RPA, and DevOps environments.
- Build and maintain an end-to-end workflow inventory, documenting triggers, decision points, integrations, hand-offs, and cross-platform dependencies.
- Create clear current-state and future-state workflow visualizations using appropriate tools/models for both technical and business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain integration documentation detailing cross-platform interactions (data flows, APIs, automation triggers, and failure points).
- Ensure workflow and integration documentation remains accurate and current as platforms, workflows, and automation capabilities change.
- Use ServiceNow workflow/automation capabilities (e.g., Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Automation Engine, RPA) to map, validate, and document operational and business processes.
- Integrate workflow visibility with DevOps and automation pipelines so documentation reflects flow from development through deployment and operations.
- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging automation and AI-assisted methods to identify outdated, duplicate, or inefficient workflows and support target-state design decisions with platform owners, enterprise architecture, DevOps, and business teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-Year University education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience designing, mapping, and maintaining enterprise workflows and integrations across ServiceNow, RPA, and DevOps, including workflow inventories, current/future-state visualizations, integration documentation (data flows/APIs/triggers/failures), ServiceNow automation tools (Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Automation Engine/RPA), and continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience designing and standardizing enterprise workflow processes across ServiceNow, RPA, and DevOps environments.
- Proven ability to build and maintain end-to-end workflow inventories, documenting triggers, decision points, hand-offs, integrations, and dependencies.
- Strong skills in process modeling and visualization to produce clear current-state and future-state workflow representations for technical and business audiences.
- Experience developing and maintaining integration documentation, including data flows, APIs, automation triggers, and failure/fallback points.
- Hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow workflow and automation capabilities (e.g., Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Automation Engine, RPA) to map and validate operational processes.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally (platform owners, enterprise architecture, DevOps, business teams) to drive continuous improvement, including using automation/AI-assisted methods to identify duplicate or inefficient workflows.

The base salary range considers many factors including, but not limited to experience, education, and training, including any collective agreement requirements for union represented positions. It is not typical for the salary to be offered near the top of the range, and salary is dependent on numerous factors. For management roles, the base salary range does not represent the total compensation package. The total compensation package for regular full-time management roles includes pay-for-performance programs for annual and medium time periods. Maintaining a high-performance culture and excellence is a core expectation of every member of our leadership team and is rewarded through the established compensation framework.
OPG is committed to employment equity. As such, we encourage applicants from equity-seeking communities (Indigenous Peoples, racialized persons, persons with disabilities, and women). We strongly believe that alleviating the under-representation of equity-seeking individuals will create a stronger OPG team and allow us to better serve the needs of our diverse communities.
In order to fulfill the above-mentioned purpose, priority in hiring may be given to qualified persons who self-identify as a member of equity-seeking groups as identified in the application process. This initiative constitutes a special program under the Human Rights Code/Canadian Human Rights Act.
