JOB OVERVIEW

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Manager, Delivery Enablement.

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager IT Services, this position is responsible to lead product ownership for ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management and the enterprise Business Analysis practice by defining vision, roadmaps, governance, standards, demand intake, prioritization, planning, execution tracking, quality assurance, coaching, value enablement, and executive reporting.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary software delivery team to strengthen capability, improve performance, and deliver high-quality products.
  • Foster a collaborative, agile, and growth-oriented team culture that promotes continuous learning, accountability, and strong engineering practices.
  • Oversee delivery processes, engineering standards, coding practices, and quality controls to improve product quality, efficiency, and timely product launches.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks by working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable and successful product outcomes.
  • Manage vendor and third-party relationships to support efficient, cost-effective delivery and maximize overall product value.
  • Track and communicate delivery performance, KPIs, compliance status, and roadmap progress to senior management and stakeholders to support continuous improvement and strategic alignment.
  • Demonstrated product ownership of ServiceNow's Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), spanning product vision, roadmap, demand intake, prioritization, planning, execution tracking, and executive reporting.
  • Experience leading an enterprise Business Analysis practice, or Centre of Excellence, including governance, standards, quality assurance, coaching, and value enablement.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in software delivery, product management, business analysis, IT delivery, or related technology roles.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing multidisciplinary software delivery teams to improve performance, capability, and delivery outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of agile delivery practices, software engineering standards, coding practices, and quality control processes.
  • Proven ability to foster a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture that promotes continuous learning, accountability, and high performance.
  • Experience managing delivery processes, product launches, risks, dependencies, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience managing vendor and third-party relationships to support efficient, cost-effective, and value-driven product delivery.
  • Ability to track, analyze, and communicate delivery performance, KPIs, compliance status, and roadmap progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management, product ownership, roadmap planning, demand intake, prioritization, executive reporting, and/or leading an enterprise Business Analysis practice or Centre of Excellence.

The base salary range considers many factors including, but not limited to experience, education, and training, including any collective agreement requirements for union represented positions. For management roles, the base salary range does not represent the total compensation package. The total compensation package for regular full-time management roles includes pay-for-performance programs for annual and medium time periods.
