JOB OVERVIEW

(OPG) is excited to offer two (2) student opportunities in our Nuclear Refurbishment Training Department in Courtice, Ontario.  This is an eight (8) months student placement commencing in September, 2019.

All students applying for student positions at OPG must meet the below eligibility:

  • Enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution.
  • Have a minimum average of 70% cumulative GPA.
  • Returning to full-time studies in the same program following the completion of the work term OR requiring the work term or co-op placement to graduate.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Assist in developing Training Material.
  • Create metrics to evaluate effectiveness of training using Microsoft Excel.
  • Create presentations using Microsoft Powerpoint.
  • Create reports using Microsoft Word.
  • Develop, maintain, and update internal website.
  • Organize and facilitate training events.

.EDUCATION

  • Minimum completion of  3rd year at a University specializing in Engineering.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preference may be given to the candidate who has the following skills and qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge in an Engineering discipline.
  • Experience delivering and developing training.
  • People Skills.

This job will provide you with the following professional development:
