OPG is excited to offer multiple Engineering Co-op/Developmental Student (All Disciplines) opportunities across our Toronto, Durham Region and Clarington locations. Please note that our Clarington locations are not public transit accessible. Work terms are four (4) or eight (8) months and start in May 2022.


The compensation rate for these positions starts at $23.83 per hour and will commensurate with experience.


Below is a list of some of the Divisions that you may be placed in:


  • Enterprise Projects: Responsible for planning and executing the mid-life refurbishment of Darlington Nuclear and manage the major projects to modify all of the plants in Nuclear portfolio.
  • Enterprise Operations: Responsible for providing day-to-day support to plant operations, which is comprimised of Engineering, Common Services, Maintenance Execution, Nuclear Training.
  • Work Management: Interface with station personnel including project teams, Engineering, Operations and Maintenance to support planning, scoping and risk management for outages.

 All students must:

  • Be enrolled as a full-time, post-secondary student in a recognized institution.
  • Have completed a minimum of 1st year at a University by the start of the opportunity.
  • Have a minimum average of 70% cumulative GPA.
  • Be returning to full-time studies in the same program following the completion of the work term OR require the work term or co-op placement to graduate.
