Become a co-op or developmental student.

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) recruits students from universities or colleges for a paid work term directly related to their field of study. As a student, you will have an opportunity to work on a variety of projects that will complement your studies at school.  In addition, you will work in an environment that has supportive co-workers, including other students, and opportunities to participate in social activities and charity events at our various work sites.

Eligibility:

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary institution full-time and returning to school full-time upon completion of your work term; OR
  • Enrolled in a post-secondary institution full-time and be registered in a co-op program.
  • There is a maximum of 2 work terms.

When to apply: January, May and September

Work Terms: Summer (May – August), Fall (September – December), and Winter (January – April)
