Explore our internships and new graduate opportunities.

At Ontario Power Generation (OPG), we believe that our people are the vital ingredient in our success and we pride ourselves in offering a significant number of internships and new graduate opportunities. Spending your internship at OPG means more than just earning some money, it means developing your skills and expanding your knowledge while generating a future of possibilities.

Internships

At OPG, we have two streams of internship opportunities – one focused on engineering and one on non-engineering fields.  The programs are formally known as Professional Engineering Year Students and Professional Experience Year Student (PEYs).

Internships are 12 months in duration (with a possibility to extend to 16 months) and provide the opportunity for students to complement their academic background with valuable professional work experience relating to their field of study.

For our Professional Engineering Year Students, the hours you work during your Internship at OPG may be credited towards achievement of your Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation.
