Ontario Power Generation recruits students from universities or colleges for a paid work term directly related to their field of study. As a student, you will have an opportunity to work on a variety of projects that will complement your studies at school. In addition, you will work in an environment that has supportive co-workers, including other students, and opportunities to participate in social activities and charity events at our various work sites. Below is a short description of the Student Recruitment Programs:
Professional Engineering Year Student
12-16 months
Must be enrolled in an internship program with their University
Must have completed 3rd year of a 4-year program or 4th year of a 5-year program
Minimum 70% cGPA
Postings in September/October with positions starting in May
Student (Co-op/Developmental)
4 or 8 Months; Max 2 terms
Must be either: registered in a co-op program, OR a Full-Time student returning to school in the same program following the work term, OR a Full-Time student requiring the work term or co-op placement to graduate
Minimum 70% cGPA
Postings in January/May/September with positions starting in May/September/January
